Ring, Product Design
Background
As a UI design lead, I helped the company launch Floodlight Cam, Video Doorbell 2, Video Doorbell Elite, Spotlight Cam Family, and Security System, among others. As an acting product manager, I worked with the leadership to collect business requirements and delivered the software experience on fast development cycles. I worked closely with firmware engineers, back-end engineers, and iOS & Android engineers in agile sprints to make sure the end-user experience matched the prototype designs. I redesigned and shipped the live video experience and the home experience in 2017 and 2018, resulting in a strong impact on the company's brand and customer experience. In 2018, Ring was acquired by Amazon for $1B+.
