I led several initiatives on the Instagram Shop team, such as internationalization, cross-border shipping, direct checkout (Meta Pay, Shop Pay & PayPal), unified sales channel management (FB+IG+WA Shops), buyer review and seller performance-based integrity guardrails, and the EU, UK, and US federal and state e-commerce legal compliance tools.

Prior to contributing to the Instagram Shop team, I worked on a proprietary React-based design tool that served thousands of product designers, content designers, and software engineers at Facebook. The tool offered high-fidelity prototyping capabilities, content governance, and customer data integration. I led more than 20 workshops and design classes on design systems, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.

2016 - 2018

As the first and lead designer, I scaled the design team from 3 to 13 members. I built the first cross-platform design system for iOS and Android, oversaw the redesign from the Shark Tank era, and created companion software experiences for 7 IoT hardware devices launched between 2016 and 2018. I hold 9 hardware and software-related patents.
